Terms of service
Last updated 15 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Castle Group - F.Z.C ("we"), which operates qrlia. By creating a workspace or using qrlia you accept them.
Your account
You need to give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what your team members do. If you use qrlia for a business, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.
Acceptable use
You must not use qrlia to:
- point QR codes or short links at phishing, malware, scams or other deceptive content;
- publish content that is illegal or infringes someone else's rights;
- send spam, or abuse the sign-up and email features;
- probe, overload or try to break into the service or other customers' data.
We may disable QR codes, links or accounts that break these rules, without notice where needed to protect people who scan them.
Plans and payment
The Free plan is free and has the limits shown when you sign up. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment provider, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Prices may change, and we'll tell you before a change applies to your next renewal. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
Your QR codes keep working after a downgrade. If you cancel or move to a smaller plan, every dynamic QR code you already created keeps redirecting to its current target, on the same link, and you can still edit where it points. The plan limits only apply to creating new codes and to paid features such as more team members or bulk creation.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you upload and the QR codes you create. You give us permission to host and display it only so far as needed to run the service for you.
Availability and changes
We work to keep qrlia running, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features. If we discontinue the service, we'll give paying customers reasonable notice.
Ending the agreement
You can close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these terms. After closure, dynamic QR codes in that workspace stop redirecting.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, qrlia is provided "as is", and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Ajman and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence and may bring claims in their local courts.
